Nature serves as our primary source of inspiration; much of what we encounter daily emerges from its shapes and colors. But what if, instead of trees and birds, we were surrounded by the most bizarre textures and forms? How would our environment change if we lived on a planet filled with giant fungi and corals instead of trees? Or if, rather than soft-furred animals, our homes were inhabited by beetles and insects?
In this collection, I focused on creating urban garments that reimagine our world, replacing our familiar surroundings with these exotic and sometimes even unsettling forms.
